Thank you to all who greeted us with “Good Morning and Happy Fourth of July!”  It was great to see such a fabulous turnout of friends and neighbors as we celebrated the history of our nation’s independence.

Check back often to learn about upcoming events.  Next on the calendar is the long awaited unveiling of the Puritas Springs Park historic marker.  Join us on Sunday, August 30th and be a part of West Park History!  Details will be posted soon.

Watch for the WPHS on July 4th in the West Park Parade!

Two ways to cool off on July 4th.

Candy & Hand Fan

Peppermint Puffs and Hand Fans !

The West Park Historical Society joins the West Park Independence Day Parade this Saturday – starting at 9:30 a.m.  We will be handing out candy with a history all its own. Red Bird Peppermint Puffs have been hand crafted in the U.S.A. since 1890!

A limited number of hand fans will be distributed as well.  Keep them HANDy for those hot summer days.
