Beginning in the mid-1890’s, Ohio entered the Interurban era with unequaled enthusiasm, operating twice as many miles of intercity streetcars as any other state.

Mr. Pfingsten will present a slide show of scenes from 25, 50, and 100 years ago compared to today. Areas include west from Lake Road, Clifton Boulevard, Detroit Avenue, Madison Avenue and Lorain Avenue to the western boundary of the city at Rocky River.

Cleveland was once the U.S. leader in the manufacture of automotive vehicles.

Mr. Moore serves on councils for automotive restoration and was a
conservation specialist at THE HENRY FORD in Dearborn, Michigan.
He will feature the vehicles manufactured in our region from the
late 1800s until 1932, when Peerless built its last automobile.
