TRIBUTE TO PURITAS SPRINGS AMUSEMENT PARK PLANNED —


West Park Historical Society is planning an event in commemoration of Puritas Springs Park, home of the legendary Cyclone roller coaster, popular Roller Skating Rink, Kiddieland, plus many rides and attractions. The tribute, 50 years after the park’s closing, will be held Sunday afternoon, June 8, 2008 at the 100th Bomb Group, 20920 Brookpark Rd., across from the airport. There will be historical photos on display, memorabilia, games and treats for everyone’s enjoyment. Admission is free.
